Gail Twersky Reimer is Founding Director of the Jewish Women’s Archive, a pioneering organization dedicated to making the unheralded stories of Jewish women relevant and visible. Six years after founding the Jewish Women’s Archive, she was named by the Forward as one of the 50 most influential Jews of the year. Coeditor of Reading Ruth: Women Reclaim a Sacred Story and Beginning Anew: A Woman's Companion to the High Holy Days, Reimer also produced the documentary Making Trouble.

Looking at the stories of Jewish women labor leaders, historical documents, and our own lives, we will consider how we feed the needs of body and soul and work for social change.
