Joel Chasnoff is a stand-up comedian and writer with stage and screen credits in eight countries. On tour, he was the warm-up act for Jon Stewart and Lewis Black of The Daily Show. Joel's memoir about his year in the Israeli Army, entitled The 188th Crybaby Brigade, has just been published by Simon and Schuster. A University of Pennsylvania grad, Joel got his comedic start as an actor and director of Penn's Mask and Wig Club. Joel's hip, clever comedy is a fresh change from the Borsht Belt comics of old. Audiences across the spectrum of Jewish observance and knowledge find Joel's comedy intelligent, positive, and - most importantly - hilarious.
