Linda Dubin Garfield, printmaker & mixed media artist, creates visual memoirs based on the mystery of memory & the magic of place. Her love of travel & her creative spirit combine in her work. Her trip to Vienna, Prague & Budapest in Spring 2007 left her with a deep sadness that she could not explain in words. She returned to create a series & book about the Holocaust & her artistic response to it

See a short video based on her book “Behind the Scene/Seen,” discuss it and then create mixed media art based on your own reactions to memories, responses and ideas about the Holocaust and loss.
