Justin Cammy is assistant professor of Jewish Studies and Comparative Literature at Smith College in Massachusetts. An expert in Yiddish literature and culture, he currently is finishing a book project on Yiddish poets in interwar Eastern Europe. In fall 2009 he was a Mellon Fellow and Visiting Professor at UCLA, and in 2006 he was awarded Smith's Sherrerd Award for distinguished teaching.
