Jewish Currents magazine
Lawrence Bush edits Jewish Currents magazine, a 65-year old progressive journal, and is author of "Waiting for God: The Spiritual Explorations of a Reluctant Atheist", and of "American Torah Toons: 54 Illustrated Commentaries," among other books. He previously edited the Reconstructionist movement's magazine. His writings have appeared in MAD, the New York Times, Tikkun, and lots of other places.

This session is based on the presenter's book, "Waiting for God: The Spiritual Explorations of a Reluctant Atheist." He will tell seven stories that demonstrate the varieties of spiritual experience and suggest a definition of "spirituality" that might satisfy skeptics and the faithful alike. Participants will pair up to describe their own stories of spirituality and discuss the content of these stories.
