Marc Rosenberg works for Nefesh B'Nefesh - a non-profit organization revitalizing Aliyah from the UK & North America. He has taught at several Limmuds and collaborates for the Lookstein Center for Jewish Education in the Diaspora. At a snail's pace, Marc is pursuing a PhD in Literature at Bar-Ilan University and lives in Jerusalem with his awesome wife and family.

Rebooting the Diaspora Mentality

As the population center of world Jewry continues to shift to Israel, creating a new reality where Israel is home to the majority of the world's Jews, how can we characterise the Diaspora minority. We will examine the role of Diaspora in Israeli political and cultural affairs and the influence of Israeli leaders on Diaspora communities. This session highlights Israel's role and responsibility in redefining Jewish Identity.
