Organ Donation: Can We? Should We?

A Jewish Approach to Organ Donation

Social and Communal, Social Justice

Organ donation rates among Jews have traditionally been lower than counterparts from other religious and cultural groups. Community educational efforts over the past two decades have addressed many concerns raised by the Jewish community yet donation rates remain low. Join us in exploring the roots of the issue, current strategies to improve donation rates, and novel programming that allows living organ donation to those in need of life-saving treatment. Be a part of pikuach nefesh (saving a life)!
