Sheridan is the Assistant Director of the Institute for Israel & Jewish Studies at Columbia University. She is a grad of Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she specialized in Modern Jewish Studies and Informal & Communal Education. Her love of “hands on” education stems from a background with USY and Ramah, both organizations for which she has worked. Currently volunteering as a co-chair for the Limmud NY 2012 conference, she maintains two blogs, one with exciting kosher recipes, and is also writing a fiction book in her "spare" time.
