Good morning! Meet your fellow participants at Breakfast before the last (half) day of Limmud NY 2008.

Alternative Morning Prayer: Contemplative Minyan

Awaken your soul in this alternative service. We will use movement, meditation, chanting, poetry and periods of silence to move through an outline of the morning prayer. As our song rises, so will our hearts open to G-d, to each other and to the beauty of a new day.

Shacharit (Morning Service): Traditional Egalitarian

Monday 7:00 AM–8:00 AM Empire Room 3

The traditional egalitarian minyan will blend the traditional prayerbook with leadership and participation by both men and women to create a spirited prayer service. (Mixed gender seating)

Shacharit (Morning Service): Traditional with Mechitzah

Monday 7:00 AM–8:00 AM Festival Room

The traditional minyan with mechitzah will provide a prayer service with a traditional liturgy, with services led by men, and women and men praying together in a traditional and spirited environment. (Separate gender seating)

SimchaYoga

Offering a gentle yoga class which combines Kripalu Yoga and Jewish Spirituality. We'll be exploring restlessness, stillness, and ways we can open to receive Shabbat in our lives. All levels are welcomed. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat or towel.
