It Took Me 20 Years To Love This Place”
A reading and discussion of the work of Israeli poets
Israel,
Text and Thought
We will read works of Shimon Adaf, Sivan Har Shefi, and Dori Manor, three young Israeli poets who come from different backgrounds. We will explore spirituality and space, see how these poets' locality is reflected in their art, and discuss whether or not we can see them as defining a new path in Israeli poetry. No previous knowledge is required. All texts will be in Hebrew and English.
