Alan Dorfman, M.S., M.A. is an educator, writer, and filmmaker from Queens, NY. He teaches students with a variety of learning needs and designs tutoring programs in mathematics and enrichment. Alan's short film, "The UK of A", about misperceptions between Americans and Brits, played at film festivals across the country. A high honors graduate of The University of Pennsylvania, Alan is NYS certified in Education and Special Education.

The session will include a screening of Alan's film "The UK of A", a short comedy about the misperceptions between Americans and Brits. The film played at festivals across the country and has been described as "a rare find on the festival circuit, Dorfman is a talent to watch” (Rajendra Roy, Hamptons Int’l Film Festival).
