In this workshop, Sharon and Aaron will teach you to find themes for Shabbat dinner menus based on ideas and foods in the Torah portions. Participants will review the parsha, develop recipes based on its events, and present the menu to their Shabbat dinner “guests.” Your Shabbat meals will become exotic favorites for all your friends!

We believe a good Shabbat service should welcome you in as an individual, give you a chance to be part of a group, and help you connect to the Divine and others in a deep way. With creative interplay of music, stories, movement, and environment, we will lead an exploration of Parshat Beshalach, “the dance party” of the moment of liberation!
