Shmuley Boteach

Shmuley Boteach is a Chabad rabbi and American TV/radio host, and was described by Newsweek as "the most famous rabbi in America." He won the Preacher of the Year competition after creating the L'Chaim Society in Oxford as student Rabbi. He is the author of 26 books including Judaism for Everyone, Kosher Sex, and the soon-to-be-released Kosher Jesus.

Kosher Sex, Kosher Adultery, and the Kosher Sutra

NOTE: This session is for adults only. Come and discuss a revolutionary approach to intimacy, marriage, and personal relationships, drawing on traditional Jewish wisdom. Based on Shmuley's international best-selling books on love and intimacy, as well as his experience of counselling individuals and couples, we will break down sexual taboos and openly, yet respectfully, discuss the meanings, emotions, and hidden power of sexuality.

Human Suffering and the Defiant Man of Faith

From wrestling with and questioning G-d in the face of human suffering, to rejecting perfection in favor of struggle, to rejecting fate in favor of destiny and hallowing time over space, the Jewish religion stands alone with counterintuitive values that can reshape our world. In a modern world riddled with angst, this discussion will have an astonishing impact on how our relation to society should be understood.

Kosher Jesus

A radically new perspective on the world's most famous personality. We'll discuss how the Jews did not kill Jesus, and why the New Testament editors made the Jews culpable as the story took shape. The hope is that these realizations will strengthen Jewish-Christian ties and values, with Jesus (historically the barrier separating the two peoples) serving as the bridge between the two faiths.
