Asher Levy

Asher Levy is a senior at Milken Community High School, an activist and teacher with Torah justice organization Uri L'Tzedek, and an active member of the Los Angeles Sephardic community. He is also a musician, shaliach tzibur, and singer/songwriter, and has performed both original and Jewish music at venues across Los Angeles (listen at www.myspace.com/asherlevy1).

The Biblical imperative for justice has inspired Jewish activism and protest throughout the ages.
