Ritual and Prayer
This session will look at the maturation of new Jewish spiritual communities such as Hadar, IKAR and Kavana. What happens when the new counter-cultural communities grow up and have to become multi-generational full service centers for Jewish life? Can they retain their edge and outsider status, while still "institutionalizing"? How do leaders balance the motivation to be an alternative community with the needs to serve a more mainstream/broad population?

Explore this emerging trend with some of LA's resident innovation experts.
