Scott is currently the rabbinic intern at IKAR. His adventures as a rabbinical student have taken him around the world, most notably to Poland, where he was the student rabbi of Beit Warszawa, a congregation in Warsaw. He has traveled to El Salvador with AJWS, Bethlehem and Hevron with Encounter, and spent the last year in Kollel at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem.

Our rich rabbinic tradition is meant to give voice to our deepest questions about meaning and purpose in our lives, but most people's interaction with rabbinic Torah is strange, impenetrable and seemingly irrelevant. In this session, we'll begin to learn how to uncover the questions inherent in a piece of Talmud and create a bridge between our lives and the lives of the sages.
