Elliot Brandt
Elliot is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's Western States Director. He is responsible for pro-Israel political activity and coalition building in 99 congressional districts, lobbying Members of Congress and their staffs annually on pro-Israel legislation and resolutions. Elliot spent a year in Israel on the Otzma Fellowship, where he witnessed first-hand the effects of the Persian Gulf War, the wave of Russian immigration and the airlift and absorption of 14,000 Ethiopian Jews during Operation Solomon. He has returned to Israel many times since then, meeting with Members of Knesset, officials from the Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Defense. He has also represented AIPAC in delegations to India, Turkey, Poland, Azerbaijan and the European Union. Elliot is a graduate of Stanford University, where he focused on International Relations and Soviet Studies. He is also a Wexner Fellow.
