Elissa Barrett is the Executive Director of Progressive Jewish Alliance, and has been published in the Forward, JTA, and the LA Jewish Journal. Elissa served as Director of Pro Bono Program and Director of Housing Litigation at Bet Tzedek Legal Services, where she created the Holocaust Survivors Justice Network, the 2009 recipient of the American Bar Association Pro Bono Publico Award. In partnership with her wife Zsa Zsa Gershick, her film and theatre work has been recognized by GLAAD and the NAACP
