Jonathan Freund has over twenty years experience as an actor, director, and writer in the New York and Los Angeles film and theater worlds. He has performed with Storahtelling, and worked extensively as an educator at synagogues, schools, camps, and the Shoah Foundation. He contributed to the Encyclopedia Judaica, and Murder Most Merciful (Studies in the Shoah). As Director of Educational and Interreligious Programs at the Board of Rabbis of Southern California, he uses text, film, and the arts to create innovative forms of Jewish and interfaith learning for the 21st century.
