Lisa Alcalay Klug

Lisa Alcalay Klug is an award-winning journalist and the author of the bestselling book "Cool Jew: The Ultimate Guide for Every Member of the Tribe" (Andrews McMeel, September 2008). The daughter of an Ashkenazi Holocaust survivor and the descendant of a Sephardic chief rabbi of Sarajevo, Lisa has written hundreds of articles on a wide range of topics for mainstream and Jewish publications, including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Forward, and Jerusalem Post. As a consultant, Lisa partners with organizations to present workshops, seminars, and panel discussions. Lisa earned a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies and a Master’s in journalism from UC Berkeley.
