Robby Helperin

Robby Helperin is a musician who runs Spotlight Music (a high-end special event band), the Simcha Orchestra (voted best wedding band by the readers of the Jewish Journal), and the Mystic Sideshow (an original rock project featured at LimmudLA in 2008). He started at VBS Hebrew School in Encino, graduated Harvard School (an Episcopal institution), got a degree in Music Theory from USC, spent a summer at BCI, a year performing in Paris France, studied in Israel, traveled through India, and learned with denominations from Reform to Chasidic. He has chaired the music team for LimmudLA for two years.
