Ben Cohen is a Denver-area multi-instrumentalist. His current ensembles include The Klez Dispensers (where he usually plays two of the following, simultaneously: accordion, percussion, tenor banjo, mandola, bass, keyboard); Shalom Feivel and Rocky Mountain Jewgrass (mandolin, 5-string banjo and backing vocals); the baroque trio Semplice (archlute and theorbo); Shir Rodef (bass), and the Tropical Coyotes (steel drums). He keeps a cornet in the car to practice at red lights.

The band provides an energetic and entertaining show, blending traditional bluegrass style playing with contemporary and classic Jewish themes and music. Great stage presence and a heavy dose of humor combine with beautiful harmonies and skilled musicianship to create a new form of Jewish music entertainment that delights audiences of all ages.
