Rabbi Steve is the founder of "Aytz Chayim/Tree of Life," a non-denominational center in Denver for exploring Jewish spirituality, multifaith dialogue, and learning. He has just been appointed executive director of the Institute for Jewish Wilderness Spirituality (with Rabbi Mike Comins) and is also on the staff of Adventure Rabbi. He is currently on the steering committee of the Religious Advisory Committee at DU. He is a former board member of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Assn.

Ritual & Prayer

Started with the assistance of a Rose Learning Grant, Rabbi Steve has been running a Jewish Meditation Practice Group in Denver for the past year. Through text study, chant, silence, and walking meditation, we will explore, learn, and support a practice of Jewish Mindfulness Meditation that can literally change our lives and increase skillful distance between "stimulus and response."
