Rabbi Shoshana Leis serves as co-rabbi of Congregation Har Shalom in Fort Collins, Colorado. She graduated from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2005. She previously served as rabbi of Congregation Tehillah and Director of Congregational Learning at East End Temple, both in New York City. She lives in Fort Collins with her husband Rabbi Ben Newman and their 2-year-old daughter Sophie

What is Reconstructionist Judaism, and what does it contribute to 21st Century Jewish life? We will study excerpts from the works of Reconstructionism's founder Rabbi Mordecai Kaplan, witness an example of values-based decision making in a synagogue-community and explore the innovative prayerbook Kol HaNeshamah's contribution to contemporary seekers who reject traditional understandings of God. You will come away with new tools for transforming your life, your relationships and your community.
