Lisa Bornstein

Lisa Bornstein is co-chair of Limmud Colorado 2009. Until March, she was the theater critic for the Rocky Mountain News, and next year begins her route toward becoming an elementary school teacher. She spent the first 18 years of life in the same house in Kentucky (where she occasionally wore shoes) and has returned to her routes via her love of bourbon. Since then, she has lived and worked in Jerusalem, Chicago, New York and Albuquerque. She would like you to introduce yourself to her during the conference, please!

Lighting Up Limmud

Community Candlelighting

Lisa Bornstein, Edward Sitver

Come get to know one another with some stories, some community-building and a chance to meet and greet as we gather to form our unique, diverse Limmud community. We will light candles as individuals, as families, and as a whole community, bringing Shabbat joy to Limmud Colorado.
