Joyful, Contemplative Shabbat Walk

with Stephen Booth-Nadav

Outdoors, Ritual & Prayer, Teens

It might be difficult to know this today with our air conditioned synagogue buildings, but from the Prophets to contemporary sages, Jews have found G!d in nature. Join together as a community of Jews on a beautiful Colorado spring morning as we take a joyful, contemplative Shabbat morning hike. Using a four world service template, with kavanot, some songs and prayers, text study and silence, we will experience Shabbat morning, and the Divine Presence, outdoors. The hike will be easy to moderate. Bring water, sunscreen, hat, good shoes, and a lightweight siddur if you have one.
