Naomi Less (Brooklyn) amplifies Jewish girl power. A Jewish chick-rocker, Storahteller and experiential educator, Naomi launched Jewish Chicks Rock, to help develop more resilient Jewish girls empowering them to pick up instruments and rock. Educators across the country use her edgy-pop music and materials to build tolerance, empowerment, self-esteem and confidence in youth. She is lead consultant for JTS's "Addressing Evaded in Jewish Education."

Join Storahtelling Mavens-in-Training Caryn Aviv and Ilan Glazer and special guests as they bring the Torah to life through a fresh fusion of Hebrew chanting, dramatized English translation, music, and interactive commentary. This Maven Torah Reading Ritual transforms scripture into contemporary conversations—deep inside tradition, way outside the box.

Naomi Less, Jewish chick-rocker, founder of Jewish Chicks Rock, a project aimed to help develop more resilient Jewish girls, will perform her original music focused on positive-empowerment and self-esteem messages through words of hope, strength, and confidence (especially to young girls). Naomi has built an album and band dedicated to breaking gender stereotypes and putting music out that does not portray women as sexual objects, like much of pop music today. Her strong character and unique voice make her message more powerful which is to be who you are, without apologies.
