Live in Concert: Julie Geller and Naomi Less

Julie Geller, Singer-Songwriter, and Naomi Less, Jewish Chick Rocker

Julie Geller, Naomi Less

Arts & Performance, Teens

Enjoy this double session of amazing music! First, Julie Geller: With Julie Geller’s beautiful voice and affecting lyrics, she aims for nothing less than to bring love and healing into the world through her words and music. Playing a unique combination of spiritual folk and original Hebrew music on piano and guitar, Julie is a talented songwriter and engaging performer. So come, relax, and take a moment to reconnect with who you are and who you want to become. If Ani Difranco were to miraculously meld with Deepak Chopra, this is what they would sound (but definitely not look) like. And, next, Naomi Less: Naomi Less, Jewish chick-rocker, founder of Jewish Chicks Rock, a project aimed to help develop more resilient Jewish girls, will perform her original music focused on positive-empowerment and self-esteem messages through words of hope, strength, and confidence (especially to young girls). Naomi has built an album and band dedicated to breaking gender stereotypes and putting music out that does not portray women as sexual objects, like much of pop music today. Her strong character and unique voice make her message more powerful which is to be who you are, without apologies.
