Identity & Responsibility

It seems that as synagogues are struggling to maintain memberships, minyanim, independent start ups, and other new forms of Jewish community are emerging. What does the future look like for Jewish institutions? This panel of people who have studied or built "do it yourself" Jewish communities will talk about what is happening in America and overseas.

London's Premier Roving Minyan

Global History & Culture, Identity & Responsibility

Wandering Jews is a (deep breath) peripetetic, post-denominational, egal, post-philanthropic minyan meeting twice a month in London since 2005. It is also one of the most fun things to do in London . In this session you will learn a little of the WJ history and philosophy. We will also carry out a Visualisation Exercise to help you dream up and then devise your ideal rambling rose of a community.

Arts & Performance, Identity & Responsibility

We will be using creative writing techniques and a little psychodynamic thinking to help us reflect on the experience of being at Limmud. This session will help you catch a hold of what you are gaining from Limmud Colorado and what you hope to take forward into your "real life". Please come prepared to read, share your work, and most importantly to listen.
