Laurie Bellet is the Art Specialist at Oakland Hebrew Day School. Having revolutionized the way art education is experienced by Jewish students, Laurie is a popular artist-in-residence throughout the United States. A veteran of Limmud UK, Limmud LA, and LimmudNY, Laurie has also coordinated the visual arts programming for the Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education. The author of six books, Laurie writes for Torah Aura productions.

Meet artist-in-residence Laurie Bellet and see all that the Art Studio offers, including a wide range of art mediums and heirloom quality crafts of all sorts, perfect for artists of every age and ability. The Art Studio will be open most of Sunday and Monday - but come today to get inspired, start a project, and get your creativity flowing before Shabbat begins.
