This session will pierce the veil of the foundation world to give you the tools you need to become a philanthropist and will demystify foundation philanthropy and how foundations work. You will learn about trends in Jewish giving nationally and study Jewish philanthropic traditions. Through a hands-on activity you will explore different approaches to giving and practice strategic philanthropy. Participants will learn about how to create a philanthropy plan and explore how tzedakah and strategy can inform giving.
