Rabbi Eliot J. Baskin, D.Min. serves as Denver's Jewish Community Chaplain and the Rabbinic Director of Rafael: Spiritual Healing Center as part of Jewish Family Service of Colorado where he visits Jews in hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, correctional facilities, and mental health institutions. He also serves part time as the spiritual leader for Congregation Har Shalom in Durango, CO. He enjoys teaching for the Melton Adult Mini-School and Argosy University as well as spirituality workshops for ReJewvenate.net. He was ordained and received his doctorate from Hebrew Union College.

After first brainstorming definitions of personal spirituality, we will examine six spiritual paths (based upon the text, “Six Jewish Spiritual Paths: a Rationalist Looks at Spirituality” by Rabbi Rifat Sonsino) to a life of wholeness and holiness. This workshop is designed to help spiritual seekers and their loved ones who are institutionally suspicious, but spiritually hungry, who distrust “organized” religion and/or who don’t settle for easy answers to complex questions.
